Spend Easter 2020 at sea

Prices from £2,204. Departure on the 28 March 2020 for 17 Nights.

Join Azamara on a fascinating cruise that blends the old and new:

This is the voyage of opposites: modern vs. ancient, desert vs. oasis, but all similarly breathtaking. From Dubai, sail to Oman: modern high-rises vs. the architecture of the ancients. Spend four luxurious days at sea indulging in our spa experiences and specialty dining before arriving in the port city of Safaga, where an overnight gives you plenty of time to discover the renowned healing properties of the mineral rich waters of the Red Sea.

A late stay in Eilat—home to stunning beaches, spectacular coral reefs, and excellent hiking–provides ample opportunity to explore this popular resort area on land or under the sea. An overnight in Jordan introduces Aqaba. History buffs will want to head to the ancient city of Petra, carved into rock. Nature lovers may prefer Wadi Rum, one of the most amazing desert landscapes in the world, said to resemble the moon. With two full days in Aqaba, there’s time to try both.

Next, pass through the Suez Canal en route to the Mediterranean. Check a visit to the pyramids off your bucket list in Alexandria, and take a selfie with the Sphinx. Your voyage concludes in Europe’s oldest city, Athens, where you may want to stay for a few days before heading home. Of course, you could probably spend a lifetime in Athens and not see everything it has to offer…

Cruise Itinerary:

Dubai > Salalah > Safaga (Luxor) > Eilat > Aqaba (Petra) > Suez Canal > Alexandria > Piraeus (Athens)

The Ship:

Like her two sister ships, the sturdy Azamara Quest® is a mid-sized beauty with a deck plan well-suited to the needs of modern voyagers.
