Spirit of Discovery is a brand new ship that makes its maiden voyage in July 2019. She has 10 decks and carries 1000 passengers and a crew of 530. Its world class design heralds a new era for Saga cruising and gives passengers the chance to explore so much more.

Accommodation on Spirit of Discovery includes Forward Suites with Balcony, Aft Suites with Balcony, Mid Ship Suites with Balcony, Standard Twin Cabins with Balcony, Twin Deluxe Cabins with Balcony, Single Suites with Balcony, Deluxe Single Suites with Balcony and Standard Single Suites with Balcony.

Dining

There are many dining options including two speciality restaurants and of course our signature Britannia Lounge. The Grand Dining Room is the perfect place to indulge in afternoon tea, served to your table. The Grill offers a more casual atmosphere with a buffet breakfast and a bespoke lunch menu. This restaurant also has a spacious veranda where there is a barbecue, weather permitting. East to West serves a variety of dishes from across the globe and is located opposite Coast to Coast, the Seafood restaurant.

Not just about cuisine and activities, the Spirit of Discovery also hosts inspirational and captivating talks. Experts in a variety of areas, the guest speakers offer insight into specific subjects and upcoming destinations.

Entertainment

There is a choice of entertainment venues on Spirit of Discovery. Relax in the bars with a drink and enjoy catching up with friends, head to The Playhouse, the ships theatre, and watch one of the many shows, maybe head to the spa where you can have a massage, use the hydrotherapy pool or relax in the sauna.
