Viking Egil

The Viking Egil cruises along the rivers, Rhine, Main and Danube, in Austria, Germany, France, Hungary, Holland and Switzerland. Built in 2016, the Egil carries a maximum of 190 passengers in various cabins and staterooms.

Standard Staterooms - Cat E & F - Inside

Standard Staterooms provide guests with river views, due to the half-height picture windows. The private bathroom comes complete with shower, premium bath products and the option of slippers and bathrobes on request. Standard Staterooms also have a telephone, safe, fridge, individual climate control, bottled water replenished daily, wardrobe and a flat screen TV with a premium entertainment package.

Explorer Suite - Cat ES - Balcony

Featuring separate sleeping and living areas, the Explorer Suites offer a wraparound veranda with spectacular river views and a French balcony. The hotel style beds can be configured into twin beds. A large bathroom provides guests with a shower, heated mirror and floor, premium bath product, bathrobes and slippers. Along with 2 flat screen TVs, other amenities include individual climate control, bottled water, replenished daily, a fridge, safe, wardrobe and a telephone.

French Balcony Staterooms - Cat C & D - Balcony

With floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open out to create a French balcony, these Staterooms offer guests hotel style beds with optional twin bed configuration. Guests are provided with a large bathroom with shower, luxury toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. French Balcony Staterooms also provide guests with a telephone, small refrigerator and a safe for belongings. Bottled water is replenished daily and the rooms are fitted with individual climate control to suit any passengers’ requirements. A 40” TV is provided with a premium entertainment package.

Veranda Stateroom - Cat A & B - Balcony

The Veranda Staterooms provide guests with sweeping river views courtesy of floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open up onto a full size veranda. Hotel style beds have an option of twin bed configuration. The large bathroom is equipped with a shower, premium bath products and slippers and bathrobes are available on request. Guests are provided with a telephone, safe, fridge, wardrobe, individual climate control and bottled water is replenished daily. A flat screen TV is supplied with a premium entertainment package.

Veranda Suite - Cat AA - Suite

Veranda Suites feature two rooms with a veranda off the living room and a French balcony in the bedroom. The hotel style beds have an optional twin bed configuration. The large bathroom is equipped with a shower, premium bath products with slippers and bathrobes available on request. Amenities include 2 flat screen TVs with premium entertainment packages, a safe, fridge, telephone, bottled water replenished daily, wardrobe and individual climate control.
