Viking Einar

Built in 2019, the Viking Einar is one of the newest Viking River Cruise long-ships to be built. She carries up to 190 passengers as she cruises the Rhine and Danube rivers. The ship has typical Scandinavian decor and premium amenities. The sun deck offers guests sunbathing and shaded seating areas, along with 360 degree river views. The Viking Einar provides food and wine tasting, 24 hour tea/coffee, complimentary bottled water and the use of Wi-Fi. The Observation Lounge has floor to ceiling glass doors with panoramic views.

Accommodation on Viking Einar includes French Balcony Superior Staterooms, French Balcony Staterooms, Veranda Staterooms, Veranda Superior Staterooms, Explorer Suites and Veranda Suites.

Dining

There are 2 eateries on-board Viking Einar. The Main Restaurant provides international and regional cuisines in a relaxed atmosphere. The Aquavit Terrace is an Al Fresco lounge located at the bow of the ship and is where guests can enjoy lunch sitting outdoors with river views.

Enrichment

Hands-on demonstrations, cooking classes, traditional dance performances, and local tastings. These in-depth experiences are included as an essential part of discovering more about the places through which you cruise, and each activity is planned specifically to illuminate each itinerary.

Sometimes you want to dig a little deeper. We offer a series of onboard multimedia talks to shed light on the history and culture of the places you visit. Topics may include the Dutch Masters or French impressionists, castles along the Rhine Valley, the formation of the European Union, the life and works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the wine and cuisine of southern France, and key words and phrases in the local language wherever you are traveling. These presentations provide a context for your own observations, enhancing your travel experience.

Entertainment

Live entertainment is provided, along with daily lectures and excursions. Other amenities on-board include shops, library, the Sky Bar, a herbal garden, putting green and a walking track.
