Viking Helgrim

The Viking Helgrim was built in 2019 and is specifically designed for cruises on the Douro River in Portugal. She carries up to 106 passengers as she cruises along the beautiful Douro River through Portugal and Spain, with departures from Lisbon and Porto. The ship has typical Scandinavian decor and premium amenities. The sun deck offers guests sunbathing and shaded seating areas, along with 360 degree river views. The Viking Helgrim provides food and wine tasting, 24 hour tea/coffee, complimentary bottled water and the use of Wi Fi.

Outside Stateroom - Outside

The Outside Staterooms provide guests with a river view, due to the half-height picture window. The Staterooms have hotel style beds with optional twin bed configuration. All categories of Staterooms provide guests with a private bathroom with a shower, premium bath products, bathrobes and slippers on request. All are equipped with a telephone, fridge and safe. Climate control is fitted to suit passengers’ requirements. There is plenty of space under the beds for storage of suitcases.

French Balcony Staterooms - Balcony

The French Balcony Staterooms have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open out to create a French balcony. All Staterooms are equipped with a telephone, fridge, TV, bottled water, under bed storage space, safe and climate control.

Veranda Stateroom - Balcony

Veranda Staterooms have hotel-style beds with optional twin bed configuration, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening onto a private veranda. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower and premium bath products, bathrobes and slippers. Guests have the use of a telephone, fridge, safe, individual climate control, sofa in seating area, walk-in closet with hangers, space under bed for storing suitcases, and bottled water replenished daily. A flat screen TV with premium entertainment package is also provided.

Suite - Suite

Suites have large hotel style beds with optional twin bed configuration. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open onto a large veranda extending along both sleeping and living quarters. The large bathroom has a bath, shower, hairdryer, premium bath products, bathrobes and slippers. Guests have the use of a telephone, TV with premium channels, bottled water replenished daily, safe, fridge, individual climate control, walk-in closet and space under bed for storage of suitcases.
