MS Movenpick Darakum

The 5 star MS Movenpick Darakum is one of the smallest cruise ships operating on the Nile River in Egypt. Built in 2008, she carries 104 passengers as she cruises between Luxor and Aswan. Being a smaller ship, she is the only one that navigates the whole length of the River Nile. The decor has a distinctive Moroccan theme and has a selection of sun beds and loungers to relax on. The Lounge Bar is the social hub of the ship with games and evening entertainment.

Lower Deck Cabin - Inside

Lower Deck Cabins have two sealed windows and twin beds with Egyptian cotton sheets. The wood panelled bathroom has a bath, shower, WC, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Other amenities include a TV, safe, fridge, air conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities.

Main Deck Cabin - Outside

Main Deck Cabins have large picture windows with a panel that can be opened, providing fantastic river views. The hotel style beds can be configured into either a double bed or two twin beds. The private bathroom is equipped with a bath, shower, WC, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Other features include air conditioning, TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and safe.

Upper Deck Cabin - Outside

Panorama Suites are forward facing and are located on the Upper Deck. They have panoramic windows providing stunning views of the River Nile. These suites have a separate seating area and hotel style Queen size beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and a nightly turndown service. The bathroom has a bath, shower, WC, hairdryer and premium bath products. Other features include a TV, safe, fridge, individual air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities.

Senior Suite - Suite

Senior Suites are located on the Upper and Top Decks. These large suites have a separate seating area and a second bathroom. Each bathroom has a bath with a shower, WC, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The beds are hotel style and can be configured into double or twin beds. Other amenities include a TV, safe, fridge, air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities.
