MS Roald Amundsen

MS Roald Amundsen is a state of the art vessel featuring new hybrid technology showing it is possible to reduce fuel on larger ships. It is the first of 2 hybrid ships Hurtigruten will add to its fleet. They will sail on electric power which is great for the environment. The ship has been built for voyages in polar waters.

Accommodation on MS Roald Amundsen includes Arctic Superior Cabins, Polar Outside Cabins and Expedition Suites.

Dining

MS Roald Amundsen has a main restaurant where guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch served as a buffet with an informal seating plan and no set dining times. Dinner is a more formal affair with a set dining plan and you have to make reservations for your seats.

Enrichment

Enjoy a lecture on the ship's deck or in one of the conference rooms and learn something new.

Entertainment

The emphasis on-board is on relaxation and discovery, and not the commercial entertainment that is so often a part of conventional cruises.
