MS Roald Amundsen

MS Roald Amundsen is a state of the art vessel featuring new hybrid technology showing it is possible to reduce fuel on larger ships. It is the first of 2 hybrid ships Hurtigruten will add to its fleet. They will sail on electric power which is great for the environment. The ship has been built for voyages in polar waters.

Arctic Superior Cabin - Outside

The Arctic Superior Cabins are located on the upper and middle decks. These cabins have double beds, or separate beds with one that converts into a sofa, tea/coffee making facilities, TV and a seating area. The bathroom has a shower and WC.

Polar Outside Cabin - Outside

The Outside Cabin has separate beds, 1 that can be turned into a sofa and a bathroom with a shower & WC. These cabins have a window.

Expedition Suite - Suite

Expedition Suites are elegant suites located on the upper deck. These suites have 1 or 2 rooms with a seating area, TV, mini-bar and twin or double beds. The bathroom has a bath or shower and a WC. Some have a private balcony or a window with views.
